see I have a problem w/ that. School Shooting are wrong it harms innocent people. They sghould meet them in an alley and blow their brains out the back of their head! People are Bullied and As a result snap and kill people. Bullying should be monitored...In general. At MCHS It awful how bad it is at our school about bullying and nothing is ever done about it. If Bartley would get off his big fat butt and actually do anything except say ummmm. Does anyone realize how many fights could have been prevented if he would change a couple classes I know Bartley's never going to do anything  , but what are some things you think schools could do to cut down on bullying and school shootings? I think I might have asked that earlier, if so, then what are some ways do you think bullies should be punished in order for them to never bully again? |

well ways they could be punished should be prison 4 a day or more depending on sererity. Maybe if they stayed in prison for a while and saw hows bad it is and that this is what their life will turn into then they will change their mind. And who honestly thinks that being suspend for bullying fighting etc is a punishment you get to sit at home and sleep and do what ever the heck you want. Yeah bad punishment

really why not just suspend them. really Monroe County is retarded it is full of retards that cant say anything 2 anyone's face so they go on stupid topics and post it! I hate monroe county I cant wait to leave this hillbilly hell hole to be honest. The school system sucks and so does the court people just everything about it!

People get away with being stupid because the law and ethics of our society are much more free and forgiving.
Give someone power or freedom and they abuse it. It's only human nature for the weak minded fool. They're not going to do anything that will change the person.
Does anyone feel surrounded by... brute idiots? I mean, I'm not a good person, but I feel like a saint compared to half of my classmates.

I agree, most of the people at our school really are purely evil. Their only enjoyment out of life is making fun of someone and seeing them cry. But when that one outcast kid who couldn't take them anymore ends up shooting the school, they'll act like THEY are the victims. I would never even think of shooting up our school, and I know none of you would. I looked on our school website just a few minutes ago and now they have a bullying report page. Like any of the staff at our school are going to do anything about a bully. Yeah, maybe they'll talk to them. But in the end, they'll make that bully shake your hand like everything's fine. I've seen it before and it's happened to me. Do they REALLY think that shaking someone's hand is going to make everything better? That doesn't excuse what the person did, or make you feel any better. Do you guys think it's wrong to fight? Personally, I think people should work their problems out without it getting physical. But lately, a lot of people have really been bothering me. Making rude comments, being a douche, etc. I really don't want to fight them, but they are bringing me to a point to where I get so angry and I have to defend myself. So, if they were to physically try to touch me, should I hit back? I don't think I should just stand there, that's kind of stupid... It's really hurting me and bringing me down a lot. I reported one person on that bullying thing on the school website, but anonymously. What should I do? I try to ignore it, but I can't. It only hurts me worse and I can't forget about it.

If they start something, finish it. You'll get in trouble for being in a fight even if you don't move a muscle, so you might as well give them what's coming to them... just how I see it. With some people, there is no reasoning.

Defend yourself.
If I was a judge, the consequences on that person would be incredibly harsh. I'm not a very vengeful person, but I can't stand anyone who lives off of tormenting other people.
Bullies suck. I had a few.. I outsmarted them in conversations and played tricks on them to get back. If I was attacked, I would defend myself. I wouldn't win, but I wouldn't just sit there.
It's probably why I hate everything.

Same here. I tend to hate just about everything and everyone lately, with the exception of my friends and a few others though. I try to ignore it, I really do. But now it gets to the point where I feel so insecure about myself. Sometimes I just feel like everyone hates me, or there's something extremely wrong with me. I do wear a lot of black, and they automatically think I'm a satanist. I mainly get made fun of because I don't talk much or because I'm overweight. To me, I'm not overweight. I admit I'm not in the best shape, but I don't feel that big and I know there are others bigger than me. If you get to know me though, and I feel comfortable around you, I'll talk a lot. I don't talk much because I'm usually around people who treat me or others badly. I tend to ignore them and they think I'm either stupid or just deaf or something. I also get nervous that I'll say the wrong things. I don't want people to think I'm weird or a freak. This problem happened after I had gotten bullied really bad once. I used to talk a lot and was very outgoing. Lol, that might surprise you. Sorry to ramble, but I've had a really bad past few days and I needed to vent my feelings.
