His name is Jeff... he's a bit older, but he's got years upon years of experience therefore that makes things easier.
We try to meet every Sunday, but Jay always finds a reason not to show up. Haha, he's far behind.
Anyway, whilst learning new songs, we are taking the time to teach our members of the band other instruments because eventually we won't have Jeff.
So someones learning drums, I'm learning guitar, etc etc.
I feel confident about this.

Really? You don't think we should just look for a new drummer? I mean we're all good at what we do already... I don't feel so confident about this, it's like starting all over instead of progressing. Also, when did the band ever get together to vote on if we even wanted Jeff to fill in temporarily? I missed that vote, and I don't appreciate Mi Kull's thinking of the band dying just because we've hit a few snags. It's not going to be easy, whoever said that was stupid. I don't know... with school starting and everything it's going to be difficult to get everyone together each week. I'm just confused by the whole thing.

Trust me, I never thought the band was dying at all. If we can find a drummer, I will be more happy.
I think we just need to make a little effort, something that we need to push into the discouraged band members as well... if we think the band is dying, we just aren't trying hard to find a replacement.
