I believed he faked his death. Heres what I think happened...
He got tired of all the Crazy fans. so he faked his death. If you have ever been to Graceland they wont let anyone other than his family upstairs. I think he's hiding up there.

I thought that was rather odd when I went there. I told my mom he was probably hiding upstairs. I was tempted to sneak up there.
