there are alot of people out there that are pressured to have sex and i know what it feels like knowing its wrong but wanting it so dang bad and you find yourself letting your grip slip But that's the thing... is it so bad? It really depends on how you view things. If you're more person proned, you'll probably see this as a bad thing... However, when you aren't around the general public, and you sit down and you think about this on your own... it isn't wrong at all. Sometimes people need sex, if that makes sense.

After all, we are animals... all animals have sex, and they don't get married, but it's not like they're committing some kind of horribly evil act.

And I have the single belief that life isn't about a bunch of limitations and moral confliction...
If people can't make this choice and roll with it whenever they want, their life is being controlled by the popular belief that any sexual contact is wrong.
We may be wise animals, but when we go into this kind of depth, we blind the original purpose. It is pleasing to the senses, and it's a natural body urge to want and desire these things. And there's nothing wrong with going through with it.

besides.... Aspen brings up religion in the first post, so... kinda asking for it. Anyway... I see nothing wrong about sex before marriage, people can do whatever they want, and it's not my place to judge them or force my opinion. I was raised to believe sex before marriage was wrong to the point where if on TV or in a movie people are having sex and they're not married my mom will say things like "They should've gotten married first..." and it's annoying. I think I want to wait for marriage, because I wouldn't have sex with someone I didn't love, and I definitely wouldn't marry someone I didn't love. And right now that's the only thing I have to go by. I've never felt that kind of sexual spark from loving somebody... so I wouldn't know how I'd do things If I ever did. For me, as long as people aren't being stupid about it, it's fine. Just wear condoms to protect from spreading STDs or STIs... whatever they call them now.. or take birth control, because a lot of people aren't ready to face that much responsibility or mature enough to know how to handle things. But using a condm wont protect from std's. I learned that in 6th grade. It dosnt cover the whole area. And as it has been said Condoms dont always work they break sometimes. And Birth Control dosnt always work either. My cousins have experienced that. I was also raised to believe no sex until married.

I know that things happen, but it's better to use a condom or birth control than not to use anything at all. The only "safe" sex is no sex at all. But even though those things are only like 96% effective that doesn't mean they don't work. They certainly help. If you're concerned about STDs then make sure you get monthly checkups. If you're going to be sexually active, don't sleep around or have sex with other people who sleep around because the more people you're involved with the greater your chances of contracting something. Or... we could all wear full-body condoms I suppose.

Or... we could all wear full-body condoms I suppose. Sounds like super fun as long as we don't suffocate! And Kara, I agree with what Sallie said. You know, you could wait until marriage and still get an STD from that person. No sex is the only perfectly safe way. I guess it's like gambling, you have to take the risk. And if you have a 96% chance at winning a million dollars, wouldn't you go for it? I'd at least try.
