I think mine changed, just now (as in I finished reading the book a moment ago). My new favorite is The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks.

I've been trying to read some Nicholas Sparks book for a while now, but every time I go to the library they're all checked out. I'm wanting to read Dear John because I know there's a movie coming out about it. What is The Last Song about?

I've read them all except Message in a Bottle, Nights in Rodanthe, and Three Weeks With My Brother (but that's not fiction). Personally, Dear John was one of my least favorites... not that it wasn't good, it just didn't fit me. I'm not much of a war supporter. The Last Song was really great... the main character reminded me of myself a few times, such as how she said she had been a vegetarian for 3 years, which is about as long as I have. There's not much I could tell you without ruining the story. You should try to read it, along with The Lucky One and True Believer if you haven't already.

I would have to say that right now my favorite book(s) would be Crank and Glass. They are based around the author's daughter's addiction to meth. It's very good. It's written in free verse like a poem, which makes it kind of short. You can read them in no time. Ellen Hopkins is coming out with the third and final book in September. It's called Fallout and I'm dying to read it. If our library gets it, I'll be rushing in to get it.

Dear John is coming out this Friday. I'd like to see the movie, but I'd rather read the book first.
