Those aren't reasons to be a certain religion. You can go to church (and be with your friends and family) without being that religion, as shown by Luigi. Do you have any reasons for the religion itself, or do you just like the atmosphere of it?

I guess just the atmosphere of it. But other than that Im not for sure y? I know. We went to my aunts church and it was very small and all they did was sing the whole time and it gave me a headache so We didnt go back there. I forgot what it was.

As I have said I dont think any religion is better than the other and I know there is alot of people that go around trying 2 force religion on people and that is wrong. It is your own choice. Dont kill me Sheri but the reason im babtist is because thats the way my family has always been. But its also because I like it. I love my church I have alot of friends there (& Family) Also the people in my church dont try to force christianity on you. But (no offence to anyone but its the way i think) I think that mormans do the way they go around to everyone's house talking about religion. Every religious type has a group meant for forcing the religion on someone else. For example (and this happens alot), an individual is sick or unable to leave their house. They will often be visited by some kind of priest (Christ related and whatnot) that will request a weekly/daily bible lesson, prayers, and other things... and tell them how they're going to hell if they refuse. You cannot blame that one religion alone... every religion does it. And when you go with a family, you are more than likely forced to go there since birth.

Yes Marissa. Oh I know they do. But Im just using them as an example cause they come to our house all the time. My church has prayer conserns and at the end of the service they will ask if anyone wants to send them cards or whatever. No when I was little I never went. We just had started going about oh 5 to 6 years ago. I dont like it when Churches tell people theyre going to hell if they do something wrong or if they dont do something. That is wrong. That dosnt mean they will go to hell!?!

There's not much arguing seeing as the strongest arguers are on the same side... *high five!* This is a situation where blake came in handy... a person who argues non-stop on the stupid side.

It's much more pleasant without one... but limits the arguing that fuels a forum. Oh well, our crazy conversations in the spam board will have to do.

Ok. So everyone is arguing about religion? Well I'm Wiccan. I respect other ppl's religions or whatever you want to call it. I just believe that your religion is what you believe. It's not one set thing. I don't believe in churches because the priest/preacher tells you what his views of the bible are and say that God told him that was it. I refuse to go no matter what my parents want. My parents are baptist, and I was raised that way...but I found Wiccan about 5 or 6 yrs ago. It has helped me. So if you were raised under one religion, you can always figure out what you believe in. Don't just follow what you were told...go find what you believe out in this world. Your soul will know what it believes in because you feel guilt after you have done something wrong.
You can argue about everything, but the truth is it is out there. You can't change it. People will always be forcing their beliefs on you. If they don't respect yours then they are better off not being your friends at all. That's the simple fact of the matter.

What happens in the Wiccan religion exactly? I've read about it, but I'm not sure. Do you do any of the spells or witchcraft? I've tried attempting a few spells, but didn't have the right materials. I've been wanting to be a Wiccan for a while now. What's it like?

Im the same way I believe someones religion is what they believe. And As I said (or I think I said) I believe in Heaven and Hell and God and Jesus. Another thing I respect other religions 2. I also dont think that any religion is better than the other. Thats not for me to deside.

I'm going to unlock it (if this is a problem, sorry). Trent's forum isn't ruined... people just aren't active anymore. Threads like this help forum to get posts. It doesn't really seem like it's going to start any fight or anything, because everybody here respects each others' opinions. We're just discussing them to learn more about each other, etc. Or at least I am. Edit: I guess somebody else unlocked it before I could... and Jason's post is gone. Now I look stupid.
