The most depressing book I've ever read, so far, is "A Child Called It". First of all, the book always made me sick to my stomach because of all the horrible things his mother would do to him. I would hate to be tortured or abused like that. I made my mom read this book, she cried of course. So unless you haven't read this book, you won't know what I'm talking about.

There's a lot of bad shit in this world (please excuse my language, it's just the perfect world to describe it). I've never cried while reading a book, but the most depressing one I've ever read was probably At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks.

It was the sequel to my favorite book... and in the end (I kind of saw it coming) Lexi dies. Lexi was awesome.
